Hi everyone,
I’m currently testing popunder traffic and trying to understand which verticals are actually the most profitable and stable for this traffic type.
Popunder is cheap and has massive volume, but the user intent is low, so not every vertical converts well. I want to avoid wasting time on models that simply don’t work with this kind of traffic.
And which ones should be avoided completely?
What I want to know:
To understand the best direction

Popunder is cheap and has massive volume, but the user intent is low, so not every vertical converts well. I want to avoid wasting time on models that simply don’t work with this kind of traffic.
My question:
Which verticals work BEST on popunder traffic in 2025?And which ones should be avoided completely?
What I’m testing now:
- WW Antivirus / Utility CPI offers
- 8 landing pages in rotation
- Some conversions, but performance is inconsistent
Traffic sources I’m currently testing
- PopCash
- PopAds
- PlugRush
What I’ve tried before:
- mVAS (0 conversions on ~100k visitors)
What I want to know:
- Which verticals consistently make money on pop traffic?
- CPI? CPL? CPA? Sweepstakes? Utilities? Extensions? Downloads?
- Are there specific GEOs that work better?
- Should I focus on Tier 3 / Tier 2?
- Any tips for landing page style (auto-download vs soft prelander)?
- What payout models actually fit popunder user behavior?
My goal:
To understand the best direction
