Killing overspending

Hi, overspending ( over = more than my internal rule set as an acceptable testing cost x zone ) is really killing my profits; rapid spikes uptrend in traffic makes impossible to get in the green. I tried a) automizer b) internal Prop capping system in smart cpa and/or cpagoal, didnt try Optimizer , Brax seems to me more for Native ( Pops here ), end of known system for me. A+B dont work , it s just a waste of time and as simply put I guess traffic runs faster than the 2 systems capability of using api ( or any other reason that shouldnt be any of my concern but of those "selling" the service). I also tried the "manual" way but it s simply impossible to stay 24 hour in front of a screen...today i want sleeping 3 hour and boom 250 usd in red from a source that yesterday was doing good...
Does anyone here have a solution ? the 3 things i will do next are 1-testing Optimizer ( but zero expectations as their tech is nothing different than the others ) 2-pausing campaigns
