The site can be banned, or it can get under Google filters — it is important to distinguish. In the first case, the site is completely removed from Google Search results. This means that you won't find the site in the search results even if you enter the name of the site in the search bar.


The ban of the site is an extreme measure. At the same time, it is energy-intensive to get back to the Google search results and there's no guarantee that you will succeed. In such cases, it is sometimes easier to change the site domain. But the use of filters(algorithms) is rather a temporary measure. In this case, it can be applied even if the site has not yet violated anything.
