Help me the first campaign?

Hi everyone, I'm new in this industry work on part time , recently I run my first campaign with Adult content in South Africa which give some first conversion, CR about 1% but the CPC is so high then the campaign is not profitable, so I decrease the CPC but have no traffic (Plugrush), so what can I should do? Choose other offer, other ad network, optimize,..?? Hope Experts here help
