Google's New CMP Requirement

So Google are to force you to use a Google Certified CMP soon if you use AdSense.

• Later this year: Publishers and developers using Google AdSense, Ad Manager or AdMob will be required to use a Google-certified TCF CMP when serving ads to EEA and UK users. We'll follow up with more details regarding timings later this year.

I'm still trying to find out exactly what this means if you have a blog/site with AdSense but so far its looking like you will have to pay per session and this could run into 1000's a MONTH.

I'm hoping there is some kind of free option or low cost one at least or this will wipe out a lot of the smaller sites incomes!!

Anyone know any more info on this or know of a free/cheap solution to satisfy the requirement?
