Hello guys,

so I used a Google threshold account to run an ad to a ISP comparison offer. Nothing fancy, plain straight direct linking, no ad extensions, loads of keywords related to that niche.

Apparently, there are some things to learn about the Google algorithm. First of all, the CPC was at a whopping $2+, then after a while, it decreased to $0.25 per click. Out of over 500 clicks, one conversion occurred. That's fine, since the account only costs 59 USD, still a 95% ROI or something, nothing gained, nothing lost.

Still, I gained some insights:

- The keyword planner seems to be highly inaccurate. It shows prices of over $7 USD per click on some keywords. Actual results were at a fraction of the cost predicted.
