Since affiliate marketing is a business (even though many people don’t treat it that way), I thought it might be useful to share an invoice template I use.
Depending on where you are in the world you may be required to use invoices for everything to account for every single cent you make (cough EU). They don’t have to be fancy (my template sure isn’t), but it just has to get the job done to satisfy the tax man.
How to Use the Template
1. Make a copy of the template to your Google account.2. Edit the invoice number; increase by 1 each invoice you send.
3. Update the issue date to the date you write the invoice.
4. Update the due date when the payment will be due.
5. Update your business details.
6. Update your client's details.
7. Fill out the items you’re billing for and add/remove rows as needed. You can add more by copying and pasting. For earnings from affiliate networks I typically just use “Affiliate Commission” as
