When I run CPA ads, I create a RON ad that doesn't block any Zone and let the algorithm collect the data, the ads get a lot of traffic and the ROI performs well, the ROI is close to profitable at times.
After a few days, I would try to block some Zones, I would block Zones with low LP CTR, these could be bot traffic. I would also block out Zones with higher click loss, and Zones with higher CPA conversion costs.
Then I create new ads that block the above Zones, but the new ads tend to underperform the RON ads, and get less and less traffic, and the ROI performance gets worse and worse.
Does blocking too many Zones affect the CPA Goal's algorithm and is this considered over-optimization?
Is Black List really useful for CPA Goal? Has blocking Zone affected the CPA Goal algorithm?
Is blacklisting only useful for CPM or SCPM?
Looking forward to your suggestions.
Thank you!
