Hi folks, which data you take into accounts while optimizing?

Let's say you are running a campaign for 10 days, this means more than one round of duplicate campaign and some optimizations here and there.
How many days of data you take into consideration when optimizing?

is it worth to optimize based on today's data or 3 day data or the whole duration
