You may have noticed a 404 error on the site a few minutes ago. The same thing happened earlier this week at about this time. We've had someone trying to DDOS attack the site.
I am not sure why they've decided to attack us, but I've caught the attack twice now and stopped it within a few minutes.
We use Cloudflare so I simply turn on the Cloudflare DDOS protection and they handle the attack for us.
The only annoying thing is you will see a message like this when you go to an affLIFT link after the protection has been turned on:
But, everything works and it keeps the server from going down.
I assume the attacker will stop eventually because trying to take us down is a waste of time. I am not sure why they've decided to attack our community, but I assume it's
