Hi, I'm starting another journey!
I've decided to create this thread before I even begin because I'm looking for feedback. But more on that later.
You might remember my previous follow-along in the email space—my Local Newsletter Journey. That was just an experiment to prepare me for something bigger—this project. Through that experience, I gained some knowledge about running email campaigns, configuring things like SPF and DKIM, creating landing pages for collecting emails, managing lists, and more.
So, what’s this journey about?
This time, I’m focused on growing my email list because I want a real asset in my portfolio.
Up until now, most of my income has come from activities where I was at the mercy of big corporations—like affiliate marketing on social media, SEO, and similar ventures. Things were going pretty well, but ultimately, it all comes to an end—whether it’s an algorithm update, account bans, or something else entirely.
By building an email list, I’ll have 100% control over my asset. Nobody can take it from me or change an algorithm that throws me to the bottom again. Plus, this is a long-term project—no churn-and-burn strategies here.
Now I’m looking for your feedback on niche selection.
