Hi everybody!
Push notifications are hot right now with every ad network now offering this ad format. They claim there's only real, human traffic since bots cannot subscribe to the push service. We know however that programmers are very clever and bots are getting more and more advanced.
I've ran some campaings on @PropellerAds push notifications with some success. However, I just noticed the click loss is very high.
Let me give you an example:
DirectLinking an offer from a known Affiliate Network, These are the stats from @PropellerAds, my tracker and AffNetwork.
3691 x .006 (avg bid)= $22.146
Let's say the first gap, between Propeller and tracker is normal. I've seen push notifications during the windows login screen, and if you click on them they never open in the browser, so those clicks are lost.
But what about the rest? We still have 2992 clicks (23.65%) that went to the tracker but never reached the offer. So, a human clicks on an ad just to rapidly close the browser tab, just before the tracker redirects to
