I am currently running a Black Friday email campaign for my social media tool, FPTraffic.
I started sending the emails this afternoon and will send out about 1,000 before I continue to see the response.
The email is basically an attempt at reengaging with unpaid users. I’ll post the email copy in this thread when I get to a computer.
I am giving the members a free week trial (automatically applied, they just have to login) and explaining that this weekend is the biggest shopping time of the year. It’s a great time to post post Amazon links (FPTraffic has a tool for that).
Even if you think your Page is dead, you could reach 20% of your audience. Post some relevant Amazon links and you could make some money.
Anyway, I’ll let you guys know how it goes. I am not tracking sales from it directly. I am only tracking reengagement (logins and usage). If it generates next members a week from now, I’ll notice. It’s not the goal though
I am using a custom coded script to send the emails and MailGun to deliver them for me. I’m also tracking opens/clicks in MailGun and Google Analytics.
