Alright, I have now installed OpenClaw at least 20 times playing around with it and killed almost as many installs. My main AI has been running for about 2 weeks now though and I've been very pleased with it. So, I thought I should create a super simple guide for how you can quickly setup your own OpenClaw AI Assistant.
Part of the reason I have done so many installs myself is because it's not really an easy process. OpenClaw is improving it, but this is free open source software so you get what you pay for.
However, since it is so popular now there are hosting services that are creating 1-click installs so I decided to try one of those. It was the easiest setup so far so that's what I am going to use in this guide.
The hosting company is called Hostinger. I had not used them before but I am pleased with their setup so I will use it. The VPS is also actually cheaper than what I already setup on Vultr so that's nice
