Morning Brew​

Morning Brew was founded in 2015 by Alex Lieberman and Austin Rief, two University of Michigan students who started the newsletter as a college side project after recognizing that traditional business news was too dry and inaccessible for young professionals. What began as "Market Corner," a simple PDF newsletter that Lieberman emailed to friends and classmates, evolved into Morning Brew when Rief joined the project, and they grew it from their dorm room by personally pitching to business classes across campus before scaling it into a $75 million media empire.

Marketing Brew was launched in April 2019 by the Morning Brew team as a spin-off newsletter dedicated exclusively to marketing news, trends, and insights, aiming
