How to transfer from Skype to Teams.

Since Skype will shut down in May, we have looked for the best solution to communicate with each other. Teams will be the best option, since this program synchronize all the Skype chats so it will be very easy to switch and you will keep all the chat history. We noticed that we had to figure it out piece by piece and so did our partner so through this way we would like to make it easier for you and help you.

Here’s how to do it:
Step 1 Download Teams → Get it here
Step 2 Log in with your Skype account
Step 3 Synchronize your contacts
Click your profile picture (top right)
Go to Settings → People → Manage
Select From Skype - Synchronize
Step 4 Move your chat history
Go back to Settings
Find and join the Teams Insider Program
Restart Teams and give it a little time—your chats should start appearing soon
