Guide CPV Lab Tutorial: How To Redirect Your Unconverting Traffic

Hey guys this is a guide I thought I'd add for affLift.

This technique is something I learned to help recover the income for your campaigns from specific metrics your losing money from.


What I learned is that traffic you can't optimize can be sold to a different network (using a publisher affiliate link), or redirect unconverting traffic to a new offer. Sometimes specific screen resolutions might not be able to view the offer correctly, so it could be better just to send them to a new offer.


This is an example of a campaign I had. The campaign looked like it could start working, but the screen resolution "0x0" for this campaign didn't seem to be converting very well.




If I could just remove this metric this campaign would most likely be profitable.




Unfortunately, the traffic source I'm using doesn't allow you to exclude the device resolution.

So what is possible is to redirect traffic from this metric to a new offer, or sell the unconverting traffic to another network as a publisher.
