How to Join
Joining is pretty simple and can be narrowed down to three easy steps.

1. Create an account in Cloudways and log in.
2. Click on the Grid icon inside the dashboard and choose Affiliate Program.
3. Complete your affiliate profile.

And that’s it! You will then have access to the affiliate dashboard where you’ll find all the promotional materials for various CloudWays campaigns.

Ways to Earn
Affiliates can earn for every referral who (1) signs up, (2) upgrades to a paid plan, and (3) pays for at least two billing cycles. If your referral completes these three steps, you’ll receive an approved conversion.



Cloudways provides its affiliates two sets of commission structures: Slab and Hybrid.

Slab Commission Structure​

This commission option segments affiliates on “Slabs” based on their performance. Slab 1 is the lowest level and is where affiliates who convert up to 5 customers belong to. The highest level is Slab 4, which is where affiliates who deliver up to 80 paying customers fall under. (Note: Super affiliates can get even better commission rates.)

You can earn anywhere from $50 to $125 per conversion depending on your Slab Level. The conversion payout is fixed no matter what paid plan your referral opts for, and is paid only once per unique paying customer.

Slab levels are refreshed at every start of the month.

Hybrid Commission Structure​

This commission structure does not pay as much per conversion as with the previous one but can turn out to be more profitable if your referrals continue to subscribe to CloudWays hosting service.

With Hybrid, affiliates earn $30 for every successful conversion, plus 7% of the referral’s monthly subscription plan. If the referral moves to a higher tiered plan, the affiliate’s recurring commissions will also increase!

This structure works great for affiliates who refer companies that purchase high-tiered hosting plans.

Both commission structures have their own upsides and downsides. If you determine that you will earn more with the other structure and would like to switch, you can do so! Changes to commission structures are usually applied at the beginning of every month.

Cloudways Payout Options​

You'll be paid via PayPal once you've earned $250 in commissions. If your earnings reach that threshold, you can expect to see your earnings in your PayPal on or before the 10th of each month. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can request for your payment to be sent via wire transfer, although that requires a minimum of $1,000 worth of commissions.

If you have signed up for a CloudWays paid web hosting plan, you can transfer your commissions from your affiliate account to your hosting account and use your earnings to pay for your subscription. This requires a minimum of $100 earnings and is processed at the same time as affiliate commissions are released.
