Hi Guys,
First time using push traffic and thought I'd document this as a following-along with MegaPush.
Firstly, what does the ad format look like.
Here’s an example on mobile:
Here’s an example on desktop:
Creative Specs
MegaPush requires a main image size of 492x382 pixels, smaller logo image, a title that has a 30-character limit, and an ad message with a 45-character limit.
The platform has a nice crop tool, to upload images and crop them to the correct size, so there is no need to use photoshop/Pixlr etc.
I noticed MegaPush offers a dynamic ad text variable as shown below which is worth testing:
Cost Model
Cost Per Click [CPC] with minimum CPC of $0.001 [1000 clicks per dollar]
Min deposit: $100
With any traffic source, I like to get a general understanding of the traffic demographic and behaviour to help steer testing strategy.
Here is what MegaPush say about their traffic:
The audience distribution is as follows:
17 years old and below: 17.7%
18 to 24 years old: 10.1%
25 to 34 years old: 21%
35 to 44 years old: 11.7%
45 to 54 years old: 32%
