It's been over a year since I've posted anything significant on the forum... and it's been a crazy year for me since then!
One of the last things I posted was in the beginning of March last year, about a week after my wife was in a serious car crash. Which was fucked up... and at the time, I (naively) thought I'd just experienced about all the crazy shit I was going to have to deal with for the year.
I mean, I even made the mistake of thinking...
Hahaha, yeah, nah!
Turns out my year was just getting started because a few days later I found out my father was dying so I flew across the country to see him, only to arrive a few hours before he went into a coma and then passed away. Which was shit, but also a kind of cathartic end to a very long and complicated relationship with the man.
Aaaanyway, long story short - it's been a bloody insane year for me!
