About 3 hours ago, I got out of the shower to a flood of messages about affLIFT being down.
It's been awhile since we've had a serious DDoS attack and this time we got hit hard. So hard that DigitalOcean suspended our droplets
It took just under 3 hours but we are back.
I will be keeping an eye on the server and I'm keeping the Cloudflare DDoS protection on for now. I will remove it later today or tomorrow if it appears we're in the clear.
I have no idea why someone would want to attack the forum and take it down, but I assume it's because they're jealous of our massive amazing community
