Anyone know if there’s a benefit to zip targeting and/or phrase match term + zip (I.e. Roofing 11550) in PPC Ads for lead gen/pay per call? I’m trying to figure out how affiliates are even able to compete on PPC these days.

Does anyone have experience running local ads to a USA affiliate offer? For example, rather than targeting "rent to own homes," targeting keywords like "rent to own homes in Denver, Colorado?" I'd imagine there's far less competition. Is this an age old working strategy? Does it not work...

The leads come from publisher newsletters (native) or dedicated emails, which are both opt-in lists. When a user clicks, they are opting in to the advertiser and that is fully disclosed. Only email is passed. Looking for offers that pay $8+ Let me know!
