Okay, so I struggled with this for a while and the information on RevContent's website is either plain wrong or I had been reading it wrong!

Now, there are many Native networks who people say that when you pass back conversions, your campaigns "mysteriously" start underperforming, however I have tested this out with Revcontent and I don't think they do that. Pass back conversions, or don't pass back conversions the results are still the same.

It's also important to note that, unlike Taboola/Outbrain who have a smartCPC/smart CPA or other variations of their algorithm, Revcontent has none. You are pretty much on your own there!

Now, you can use your tracker's template to set up the traffic source in your tracker. For Voluum, it is going to look something like this :

You cannot track costs with a tracker for Revcontent unless you are using API hence it is missing a cost token. Some trackers might have the externalID already inputted, but when I was setting it up for Voluum a while ago, there was no external ID there and tbh I didn't bother passing back conversions to RevC either!
